We at RockandRollWriteIn believe that there ought to be a place on Al Gore’s InterWeb where fans of 50′s, 60′s and 70′s music can congregate, learn, discuss and enjoy their favorite music.
Over the last few years, ratings for ‘Oldies’ channels have increased. By the way, Oldies nowadays refers to music recorded from 1964-1979 since that’s what the True Oldies Channel specializes in – with some exceptions of course… but I digress. The point is, it’s obvious that this music is special. We love it. You love it. So, let’s enjoy it!
This is not a blog in a conventional sense. This site strives mainly to create a community – a place for music appreciation and discussion. We are not here to write dissertations on the music. We are here to ‘open the floor’ to viewers.
