But then, it was never really great to begin with! I can forgive this deficiency because the band is just so good, the music so fine, that it didn't detract from the experience - for me. Of course, I caught them much earlier on this tour than you did. It's possible his voice was ravaged over the course of three months. He was hitting plenty of wrong notes too which was most disappointing. The set flew by and after 2 hours at least they were done incl. an encore of ‘pretzel logic’ with co – headliner Steve Winwood whose voice was masterful. I think it is about some big drug bust at Bard College, where I believe they went to school. Last Tango in Paris is a fantastic tune. There are even some great lyrics which were added to it.
